Having only recently undergone a comprehensive programme of modernisation, this three bedroom semi detached house is sure to impress once seen first-hand, as few rental properties locally can say that they offer as much as this. Each room has been re-decorated, with new carpets, new bathroom, new kitchen and fitted curtains / blinds throughout being only a few of the highlights this amazing home has to offer.
The internal layout of the property in brief includes: entrance hall with staircase to the first floor, lounge, dining room, separate modern fitted kitchen, first floor landing, three bedrooms and three piece first floor bathroom. Off road parking is available to the front of the property on the block paved driveway, to accommodate around two vehicles. To the front also is a lawned area and flower bed border. To the right-hand side is gated access round to the rear. The main garden is located to the rear and consists of a paved sun terrace / patio leading to the established lawned garden with planted flower bed borders. To the end of the garden is a further paved patio area. The rear garden is made private by an enclosed perimeter of fencing and hedges and also benefits from two brick built garden stores.
Information for Potential Tenants
Transparency is extremely important to us. Outlined below is important information for potential tenants, prior to renting a property through Smart Move.
Should you wish to reserve or “hold” a property via Smart Move, you must pay a holding fee of one weeks rent, whilst you undergo credit checks. Once you have passed credit checks, this holding fee will be deducted from the first month’s rent. NB: The holding fee is non-refundable if the applicant pulls out on renting the property without good reason, or if they fail credit checks due to falsely supplied information. All tenants and guarantors must undergo full credit checks. On the day you move into a property, you must pay the first month’s rent plus a security deposit / bond, which is usually the equivalent of one month’s rent. The security deposit shall be returned to the tenant upon the end of the tenancy, if the property is left in the same good order as they moved into it.
About the Local Area
Ormskirk is a busy market town surrounded by the parishes of Bickerstaffe, Aughton, Scarisbrick, Burscough, Lathom and Lathom South. The town centre is home to a varied array of large chain stores, as well as boutique independent shops and café bars, providing a vibrant and busy heart to the town. An open market is held twice-weekly, on Thursdays and Saturdays, in the pedestrianised centre of Ormskirk. The Market location was originally the junction of the main roads to Preston, Liverpool and Wigan, and was marked by a market cross going back to medieval times. The A59 is the main road, with Preston to the north and Liverpool to the south. The A570, from Southport, crosses the town from west to east and provides a link to the national motorway network at junction 3 of the M58, about three miles from the town centre.
